About TBS. TECHNISYNTHESE, which is the manufacturer of TBS goods, was set up in 1975. TBS is located in France in the Loire Valley, in a fashion area (around Cholet city), in the middle of the country and near the Atlantic where there are many French pleasure boat builders as well as yacht equipment manufacturers. The TBS brand name comes from "Terre Battue Synthétique" (synthetic clay court), which is a tennis comfortable court covering made of flexible polyurethane beads polymerised with polyurethane resin (in order to play longer with no pain while relieving back). We run the Globex style TBS shoes in Red, Tundra and Navy. Great shoes, wide fitting, made in France. Very comfortable, very good looking, very good deck shoes! The other style we carry is Lacano, also in the same three colours. This style is much more fashionable (see photo) and bought not only as a deck shoe but as a seriously cool shoe to wear with shorts. In beautiful Nubuck washable leather. |
